I told you. Actually, I'm even a day early. But I told you I'd post.
Anyway, I'm here to finish up my last post that I never really finished. If you haven't read that, you should now. So yeah, I'll be covering Zelda's look and how it's changed over the years.
We'll start from the beginning, like we did Link.
The Legend of Zelda (1986) and Adventure of Link (1987)
She has brown hair here. Her dress is also very simple, as is her face.
A Link to the Past (1991)
Here, her hair turns blonde, which it will stay. Her dress is also more complicated.
Ocarina of Time (1998)
And... Sheik should also be in here. But (s)he's not. So sorry.
Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages (2001)
She looks a bit younger here.
Wind Waker (2002)
Here's Toon Zelda. Also Toon Tetra, which is the only form of Tetra. I found it a little strange when they introduced the whole concept of Tetra being Zelda and stuff... especially because in Ocarina of Time, Shiek knew that he was actually Zelda and was the same person. Here, however, Tetra's all like: "Who's Zelda? Not me." But Tetra, you're wrong. So shut 'cho face. XD
Four Swords/Adventures (2002-2004)
Here she looks a little bit more... formal-ish. I guess. I can't really describe it. Just a little more formal-ish.
Minish Cap (2004)
She's back, and exactly the same as in Wind Waker. At least the art is.
Twilight Princess (2006)
Realistic Zelda. And she's carrying a sword. Which doesn't look like it would be much use against Ganon. Maybe she's using it to look tough. Which she doesn't, really. Okay, maybe just a little. But not much.
Phantom Hourglass (2007)
Ew. Same graphics, same art, same person, different expression. Just ew.
Spirit Tracks (2009)
She's back, and she looks exactly the same as in Minish Cap and Wind Waker. Except for the fact that she's a ghost 90% of the time. But that's just, you know, a minor detail.
Skyward Sword (2011)
Here she looks sad. Because she's saying, "Ow. The wind's blowing in my face. That makes me sad." OK, sorry for ruining a good piece of art. My fault.
Zelda Wii U (2014)
Sorry. But I had to. I just HAD to.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA(so much suspense) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND we're done.
That's all for now. Thanks for reading, if you read this, which you obviously did. Thanks for supporting my blog! Even though you all don't leave comments and stuff (except baileygirl99), I know you're reading this because of my pageviews. Not a lot, but still pretty good. So thanks for supporting me behind the scenes. Stay tuned. :)
In every picture (besides the 1st LoZ and SS) Zelda has a chest plate thingy and a fail of a crown. When it comes to official artwork, Minish Cap, Wind Waker, and TP Zeldas are my favorites. As for in-game artwork (too bad for the 2d games!) I like WW and TP Zeldas...ok and Minish Cap...I guess I like those Zeldas no matter what! But as for in-game personalities...OoT Child Zelda and Sheik, an Spirit Tracks Zelda. (I could probably relate the most to that Zelda, being princessy and uncertain...) I really like Minich cap and WW Zeldas because of her soft graphics, and she has a whole lotta pink in her outfit! but I must say, I probably just plain hate Tetra. I know I wouldn't be friends with her!
ReplyDelete(Sorry it took so long to comment! My internet was down D-: worst days of my life. well, see ya! XD )
Heh... Well, in the first picture, there's a little something on her forehead... guess you could call that a crown... nope, maybe more like a... forehead necklace... XD
Deleteby the way, do you have an Xbox 360? if so, how about an Xbox Live account??? well, I do...baileygirl99...if ya know what I'm sayin...
ReplyDeleteYa, I do! My name is baconstrip37.
DeleteAlso, if you have/get a Wii U, mine is baconstrip39. Coincidence? Meh.
And Minecraft name is baconstrip38. If you play that. I don't play much, but you know, might as well give it to you.
I want minecraft, but I just don't have it ...yet...
DeleteIf you have a friend that has it, this is what you can do: (it's what i did for a while)
DeleteYou go to minecraft.net, your friend will enter their username and password, then download it onto your computer. Then, they log out of their account, and it's on your computer! The only downside is that you can't play multiplayer, since you aren't logged into an account. But hey, it's free!
Also, if you have a super nice friend, then they might let you use their account.
